FlexLab, the open automation solution by Inpeco, has been selected as the backbone of the new laboratory set up in Pievesestina to collect activities from local health units of Cesena, Forlì, Ravenna and Rimini. With an area of 10.000 sq. m. and 10 millions of tests per year, pertaining to almost 1 million of patients, the new structure represents a unique case at European level.

Thanks to the flexibility and the openness of Inpeco solutions, FlexLab automation system will manage the whole pre and post analytics steps, namely for sorting, centrifugating, decapping, analyzers connections, sealing, storage  and desealing of tubes.

The customized configuration also includes Nemo middleware to assure an efficient management of tubes and all produced data in a unique, integrated platform, able to  optimize TAT (Turn Around Time) values and  the laboratory workflows.
